SurgeMaster Surge Protectors Recalled by Belkin International, Inc. Due to Shock Hazard






Belkin International Inc., the manufacturer of SurgeMaster™ Surge Protectors, has recalled this product, because the molding on the plastic can crack or detach from the plug assembly posing a shock hazard to consumers. This recall includes the SurgeMaster™ Surge Protector, models F9G930-10, F9G930v10, F9G930-10-W and F9G930-10-SN which were all manufactured in 2003, and sold between September 2003 through December 2007 for approximately $50.00. Consumers are directed to immediately discontinue use of the power strips and contact Belkin for a new replacement unit at 800.952.1465 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. PT Monday through Friday or visit the manufacturer's website at www.belkin.com/recall
