Acer Recalls 13.3-in Notebooks Due to Overheating

Acer has announced the recall of five of its 13.3-inch ultra-thin notebook models due to defective assembly that causes the microphone cable to overheat and become too hot causing the systems to become deformed and malfunction. The models in question are the AS3410, AS3810T, AS3810TG, AS3810TZ and AS3810TZG. Consumers are directed to contact Acer at http://customercare.acer-euro.com/customercare/AcerUpdate.aspx?CID=US&LID=ENG&IType=JM31 to determine if your serial number is affected in this recall.
