Dasco California LLC has Recalled Wooden Toys Due to a Choking Hazard








Daiso California LLC, the importer and distributer of children's toys, has recalled various wooden toys manufacturered in China and imported to the United States, because the toys have small parts that can break, detach and pose a choking hazard to young children. The recall is of four models of Daiso wooden toys including a Penguin Handbell, Pull Doll, Alligator Pull Toy and Rolling Animals depicted above. The Penguin Handbell has a small metal bell inside its hollow interior. The Pull Doll's limbs move up and down when the string is pulled. The Alligator Pull Toy is green and yellow will move in an undulating fashion when pulled. The Rolling Animals are in the forms of a dog, rabbit, cat and mice, and their tails are connected to their bodies by metal springs. Daiso is printed on the product's packaging. Consumers should immediately take the recalled toys away from children and contact Daiso for a free replacement toy or a full refund by contacting Daiso toll free at 888.580.8841 between 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. PT, Monday through Friday, or by contacting the firm's Web site at http://www.daisorecall.com/.
