Parents - Check the Public Restrooms Before Allowing Your Children to Use Them

Recently, a man described as a frequent customer at a local coffee shop near a mall in Boise, Idaho was accused and arrested for attempting to videotape women using the public restroom. The accused was to have allegedly placed a video camera on a shelf in the the bathroom and used it to record a female customer. The accused has been charged with video voyeurism and burglary. Let this be a warning to parents to take the initiative and check out the public facilities before allowing the children to use them in order to protect them and keep them from harm's way. Although the accused has a presumption of innocence; let this be a warning to parents to be vigilant in being alert as to any miscues that appear out of sorts and to inform the authorities where there is any suspicious activity or conditions present. Our children are our greatest resource, and we must be vigilant in protecting them from predators who hide and lay in wait to take advantage of others.
