Coyne's & Co. Recalls Haunted House Screen Candle Holders (Sold by Yankee Candle) Due to Fire Hazard

Coyne's & Co., the manufacturer of Haunted House Screen Candle Holders (depicted in the photograph above)(sold by Yankee Candle), has issued a recall of said product because of reports of the window panes of the screen have ignited posing a fire hazard. This recall involves the haunted house screen tea light holders which consist of black metal with a transparent coating on the glass windows. The measurements of the haunted house are 15-inches wide by 15-inches high by 4-inches deep. The candle holders are designed to hold up to six tea lights. The tea light candles are not involved in this recall. The product is sold exclusively by Yankee Candle stores nationwide and via online at http://www.yankeecandle.com/ between August 2009 and September 2009 for about $25.
