Idaho Requires Sexual Offenders to Register

Parents should take note that sexual offenders are required in most states (Idaho accord) to register their name and address with local authorities. The Ada County Sheriff's Office publishes the names, photos and addresses of registered offenders to assist parents and their families in being able to identify such offenders in the area. If you see a registered offender in or near a school, park or playground or near where children are assembled, I encourge you to contact the authorities. It's also imporant to take the time to check out your neighborhood listing of offenders with the sheriff's office to insure that such offenders are identified in order to protect your children.
