Electra Bicycle Co. Recalls Bikes with Front Trays & Baskets That Can Come Loose & Pose Fall Hazard




Electra Bicyle Company has recalled approximately 6,400 bicycles, because the front tray and/or basket can come loose and make contact with the front tire creating a risk or hazard to riders causing them to fall. The bikes in question including the 2009 Delivery 3i, Delivery 8D, Holiday 3i, Holiday 8i and Surf 3i bicycles. Each of the bikes come with front-mounted trays or baskets. The trays have an alloy frame with wooden slats. The baskets are wicker with a removable tote bag.
