LED Light Kits by Rockler Companies Recalled Due to Burn & Fire Hazards




Rockler Companies Inc., of Medina, Minn., the manufacturer of Rockler LED Lights with an interchangeable spotlight head or magnifying head, has issued a recall of these lights, because the wiring in the light kit can cause the battery pack to overheat, explode and cause a hazard of fire and/or burns to the consumer. The models included in the recall have stock numbers 26429 (for the spotlight light) or 27017 (for the magnfifying light)printed on the lights' packaging. Consumers should immediately discontinue use of the recalled products and call Rockler Companies to receive a free repair kit and installation instructions at 800.260.9663 anytime or write to Rockler Woodworking and Hardware at 4365 Willow Drive, Medina, Minn 55340.
