Toyota Anounces Yet Another Recall - This One For 2010 Toyota Tundra

Toyota Motor North America, Inc. has announced the recall of its 2010 Tundra vehicles with four wheel drive due to the possibility of an improper weld at the union of the propeller shaft and yoke. The improper weld may cause the joint to separate causing the separated shaft to come in contact with the road surface increasing the risk of the loss of vehicle control and a crash. Consumers should contact their local Toyota dealer to replace the front propeller shafter at no charge or cost. Owners may contact Totota at 800.331.4331.

  1. very good decision by toyota, When an accident occurs it can be a difficult and somewhat uncomfortable time for those involved. Making a claim against an insurance company for the damages can, sometimes, exacerbate the situation. Usually, a person who is liable for an accident -- and therefore his or her liability insurance company -- must pay an injured person for:

    * medical care and related expenses
    * income lost because of the accident, because of time spent unable to work or undergoing treatment for injuries
    * permanent physical disability or disfigurement
    * loss of family, social, and educational experiences, including missed school or training, vacation or recreation, or a special event.
    * damaged property.
