Toyota Motor North America, Inc. has announced the recall of its 2010 Tundra vehicles with four wheel drive due to the possibility of an improper weld at the union of the propeller shaft and yoke. The improper weld may cause the joint to separate causing the separated shaft to come in contact with the road surface increasing the risk of the loss of vehicle control and a crash. Consumers should contact their local Toyota dealer to replace the front propeller shafter at no charge or cost. Owners may contact Totota at 800.331.4331.
