GM Informs US of Upcoming Recall of 1.3 Million Vehicles Due to Possible Power Steering Failure


The Associated Press reports that General Motors has notified the government of its plan to recall approximatelyy 1.3 million cars, because of potential power steering failures. However, GM says that it is still safe to operate the vehicles. The recall involves the 2005-2010 Chevrolet Cobalts, 2007 to 2010 Potiac G5s, 2005 and 2006 Pontiac Pursuits and 2005 and 2006 Pontiac G4s.
