Vicks Dayquil Cold & Flu Liquicaps Recalled Due to Failure to Meet Child-Resistent Closure Requirements


Proctor & Gamble Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio, the manufacturer of Vicks Dayquil Cold & Flu 24 Count Bonus Pack Liquicaps, has recalled this product, because it contains acetaminophen and the packaging fails to meet the safety requirements mandated by federal law for child-resistent closure. The UPC number on the package bears the number 3 23900 01087 thereon. Acetaminophen can cause serious health problems or death of a child if several capsules are consumed. Consumers are directed to keep this product out of the reach of children. Consumers are entitled to a full refund or replacement coupon. Adult consumers may continue to use the product as directed.
