All Terrain Vehicles By BRP Recalled Due to Loss of Steering Control




BRP USA, Inc. has recalled its All Terrain Outlander and Renegade vehicles (ATVs) due to a problem with the steering mechanism. The dynamic power steering may fail causing the operator to have loss of steering control resulting in a risk of injury or death from the operation of the vehicle. The recall involves the 2010 Cam-Am Outlander and Renegade vehicles manufacturered by BRP USA, Inc. The affected models of the Outlander affected by this recall include XT 4X 800EFI; MAX XT 4X 800EFI; MAX LTD 4X 800EFI; MAX XT 4X 650EFI; XT 4X 500EFI; MAX XT 4X 500EFI; XT-P 4X 800EFI; MAX XT-P 4X 800EFI; XT-P 4X 650EFI; MAX XT-P 4X 650EFI; XT-P 4X 500EFI; MAX XT-P 4X 500 EFI; MAX LTD XT-P 4X 500EFI; and XT 4x 650EFI along with the Renegade XXC 4X 800EFI.
