2010 Lexus HS250H Added to List of Recalled Vehicles Due to Brake Problems


Toyota Motor North America, Inc. has added the 2010 Lexus HS250H to the list of recalled vehicles in addition to the 2010 Toyota Prius, because customers have complained of inconsistent brake feel after ABS actuation during slow or steady application of the brakes on rough or slick road surfaces which may result in stopping distances being increased compared to customer expectation for a given pedal force. Toyota has agreed to rewrite and recode the programming in the ABS Control Unit of the vehicle free of charge. Owners are encouraged to contace their locate dealer to schedule an apppointment for repairs. The recall is expected to commence in late February and be completed in late March, 2010.
