Rechargeable Spotlights Recalled by Innovage Due to Burn Hazard





Over 1.4 million FIXIT Rechargeable Spotlights have been recalled by Innovage LLC, because the charging adapter can overcharge, rupture and leak battery acid causing a burn hazard to consumers. The handheld spotlight is made of yellow plastic and has a black label that reads, “FIXIT Tools UP TO 1,000,000 CANDLE POWER” or “FIXIT Rechargeable Spotlight.” The spotlight is sold with an AC power charger and a 12 volt car utility adapter. Consumers should immediately discontinue using the recalled product and and contact Innovage for a full refund of the regular retail price. For purchases made above the regular retail price, additional refunds will be offered with valid receipts. Consumers are asked to return the product, via a self-addressed stamped envelope or box that will be provided.
