12 Yr. Old Dies from ATV Accident



ELMORE COUNTY -- On Friday, September 10, 2010, Ryder Cole McRae, a 12-year-old boy from Mountain Home, Idaho was killed while driving an ATV. KTVB.com reports that the youngster died from major head injuries after having been thrown from the ATV and landed on the road. He was not wearing a helmet. He was taken to the Elmore County Medical Center and then flown by LifeFlight to the Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise where he died.

Parents should always supervise children when operating an ATV and children should ALWAYS be required to wear a helmet when operating said equipment.
