Sports Balls by Sportime Recalled Due to Lead Paint Violation
Sportime of Norcross, GA has issued a recall of its Sports Balls, because the surface paints on the products exceed the levels of lead permitted under the federal lead paint standard. The recall involves the following SchoolSmart TechnoSkin Coated Foam Balls and TechStitched Soccer Balls. The TechnoSkin Foam Balls measure between 2 ¾ and 8 ¼ inches in diameter. The Sportime TechStitched Soccer Ball is a standard size soccer ball. Consumers should immediately remove the the recalled products from children and contact Sportime for instructions to receive a full refund or replacement product.
